As the arctic fox lay cringing on the ground, awaiting the end, the gray wolf lunged down to end the game. But before its jaws snapped shut, the wolfs tongue extended full length, and...licked the arctic fox from the throat all the way up its snout to the tip of its nose.   
"Oh, EEWWW! Wolf drool. GROSS!" The arctic fox protested indignantly, as it tried to push the gray wolf away with front paws that now displayed curiously longer 'toes' (fingers, really) than those of a normal canine. The front paws, which were love...BITES

The arctic fox, relentlessly pursued by a fierce gray wolf, had followed the brook back into the forest. Desperately, it made erratic changes in direction to elude the wolf, even turning completely around at one point to run under the wolf.   
The wolf was so taken by surprise, it tumbled head over tail, rolling into the brook. This bought the arctic fox time to get a bit more distance between it and the wolf. Spotting a large thorn bush on the far end of a small clearing on the right side of the brook, the arctic fox made a desperate dash for what it TAKEDOWN

HOT PURSUITA hunters moon cast it's light over the forest, as a gentle breeze drifted through the trees. Across the meadow, at the forests edge, the murmering waters of a babbeling brook could be heard.     
Suddenly, the peaceful stillness of the night was broken by frantic rusteling and scurrying, as an arctic fox burst forth from the forests edge, as it dashed into the meadow. Its fur was pure white, except for two almond shaped eye patches that were black as a new moon night sky. From those two night black patches, a pair of golden colored eyes scanned the forest edge, as it's black nose sniffed the air from where it momentarily HOT PURSUIT

Hi, guys. Sorry I haven't been on for so long, but my local library was closed during summer for renovations. Been having a good summer so far. Seeing movies, eating out at my favorite places, spending gobs of money on stuff for me. :evil laugh:

Also, I've been totally enjoying the footloose and fancyfree singles life. Thanks for your comment, Jess. I TOTALLY agree. :hug:

I've been thinking of attending Dragon Con this Labor Day. But, maybe, I'll go to Cherokee, N. Carolina to rersearch my Cherokee herotige instead. My grandfathers grandfather married a full Cherokee woman, and I'd like to know if I can find out which of the seven clans she's from.

I hope I'm connected to the wolf clan. Wolves ROCK! Also, I've told people I work with I have a Spirit of the Wolf. So, this Labor Day, I may be N. Carolina bound.

So, how's things with everyone?

I'm ok. I don't come on much, lately, because of my recent addiction...........to HARVEST MOON DS. =p

yeah, weird, i know. Between that and work, I don't have much time for musc else.
